Jimmy was born Jan. 12, 1971, in Youngstown, a son to Carmen J. DeDonato Jr. and Clara Wilkinson DeDonato.

Jimmy was a 1989 graduate of Girard Excessive College. In his youth, Jimmy performed a few years of soccer and baseball and was an impressive athlete. Jimmy was the beginning quarterback at Girard Excessive College and went on to be named All Trumbull County Offensive Participant of the 12 months and was voted to the Trumbull County Baseball All Star Workforce in highschool.
