Sweden’s financial system managed to narrowly evade a recession within the first quarter whilst inflation and better borrowing prices weigh on the largest Nordic financial system.
First-quarter gross home product, adjusted for seasonal swings, grew 0.2% from the earlier three-month interval when it had contracted 0.5%, based on information from Statistics Sweden. Which means Sweden dodged a technical recession, outlined as two consecutive quarters of declining gross home product.
